The house at Quart-A-Nancy Point is one of only a few private homes on Cooper Island. Relax, swim and snorkel/scuba dive, read, or watch daily life at Manchioneel Bay. Our 50-foot, open-plan, living area and west-facing panoramic view showcase spectacular sunsets over the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Experience self-sufficient island living without giving up all the amenities. Cook your own meals or visit the Cooper Island Beach Club (CIBC) for lunch or dinner. Amenities: Private Jetty with Swim Ladder, Solar Power (12-volt DC and 110-volt AC), Cistern Water, Solar Hot Water (hot shower in both bathrooms), Full Kitchen, Full-size (16-cubic feet) Refrigerator/Freezer, Four-burner Propane Stove and Oven, Charcoal Barbecue Facilities, Blender/Cuisinart, Phone and FAX, VHF Base Station, Broadband Wireless Internet, Wired and 802.11b/g Wireless Internet within the House and on the Porch, USB Photo-quality Computer Printer, Boom Box Stereo with CD Player, Mini-Stereo with AM/FM radio/CD Player/AUX input (for MP3) and outside speakers, 13-inch Television with VCR, 17" LCD Monitor/TV with DVD player, Selected Books, Board Games and Jigsaw Puzzles. Activities (on site or nearby): Swimming - while our property is rocky with no sandy beach, the jetty and landing are great places to enter the water or to sit and watch the harbor activity or catch some sun, there is also a good sandy beach at the Cooper Island Beach Club, Snorkeling - Quart-A-Nancy Point has the best snorkeling around Manchioneel Bay, Diving - Sail Caribbean Divers has a full service dive shop on Cooper Island, Hiking - there are several day hikes available, Fine Dining - at the Cooper Island Beach Club Restaurant.
